Street of New Orleans, vintage style. It's an amazing city so full of life, except for these quiet streets out of the way, empty of people, broken down and forgotten. These to me were full of life, just a life from the past.
This is how the place that I live makes me feel.

Branching out a little, side work to my fine art work.
The human body intrigues me. I love to see the natural shape of the muscles and the way they change with each movement, or twist or turn. I am fascinated by how each body is so so different and will definately continue with this project.
I am a fine art photographer, currently attending UVU, planning of graduating with my BFA degree, emphasis in photography, in December of 2010. I grew up in the eccentric and artistic city of Portland, Oregon which jump started me into the arts at a young age. I thoroughly enjoy taking pictures of interesting people, varieties of cultures and styles. I do mostly fine art in my life right now, including mixed media projects. The reaction I love to get from my work is when people can't or don't want to stop looking at it. Almost like a bad car accident you know you shouldn't want to stare at but can't look away. Some might call some of my work morbid or "Tim Burton-esque" but I love the inner workings of the mind and why people do things and I want to show that about people through photography. Heavy influences come from artist like Diane Arbus, who also didn't like to photograph the pretty people, and also the Park-Harrisons. Their bizarre and dark pictures inspire me. I love their type of weird, but meaningful work and their elaborate settings. Photography is how I express my inner self and it thrills me everyday.
